FAQ

We understand you’ll have questions, concerns, etc. If your question isn’t answered below, please contact one of us to get it added as it’s likely someone else has a similar question/concern. Also, we won’t complain if you call just to chat.

All bulls are covered 50% by Sand Rock Angus if they are injured during their first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 60-day period following the first turnout of the bulls.

50% of the value of the injured bull, minus one-half salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Salvage value, if any, will be split equally between Sand Rock Angus and the buyer. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1 of the current breeding year.

Example: A $6000 bull is injured and will not heal. A credit of $3000 minus one-half any salvage value will be given to the buyer.

Definitely. If fact, we prefer it. It gives us a chance to get to know you as well as giving you the chance to see the bulls in person. We just want to make things easier if it seems like you never have the time to get your bulls bought. We also understand the difficulty in getting here in person if you live in a different state or even the other corners of Montana so we want to make things as streamlined as possible for you.

We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, and checks. If you prefer to pay by check, please mail it ASAP as after 10 days we will cancel your order if we have not yet received payment. Also, if you pay by check, please allow several business days for us to ensure the check has cleared before taking delivery of your bulls. This does not apply if paying in person at the ranch as you may take your bulls the same day if you wish.

Depending on our delivery schedule and what our route is, you may be able to take delivery within a couple days to a week, the best way to know for certain is to call one of us to see what our schedule looks like for the foreseeable future. We may be able to move things around if needed as well. Also, don't worry about buying in January and having to take your bull right then and dealing with feeding them through the remainder of the winter. Leave a comment during the checkout process of a date range (week, month, etc.) when you think you'll be wanting your bulls (we expect it to be months away, don't worry) and one of us will call you confirming this. As the date approaches, we'll call you with a scheduled date that works for you and us to make the most efficient deliveries.

Absolutely! Just let us know ahead of time when you'll be coming.

Purchasing your bulls online is completely secure, it's no different than buying something off of Ebay or Amazon, the same security is in place. If you still prefer to pay by check, we offer that as an option as well, we want you to be able to pay with what you're comfortable with.

When you submit your purchase we will be notified of your purchase. We will review your comments of when you want delivery, if you'll be picking the bulls up yourself, if you'll be paying by check, etc. One of us will give you a call to confirm everything and get the details of getting you your bull/bulls. If your address isn't one that works on Google Maps, we will also request directions to where you would like us to come to.

We can offer discounts if you plan on buying a group of bulls together from us, the best way to work that out is to call or email us or visit in person. You can still purchase online, we will just create a personalized discount code for you that fits the deal.

You sure can. Just call or email one of us and we will make the necessary changes in our schedule to suit your needs.
